Cake Pops with Blueberry for Children's Day

Happy Children’s Day!

The care of our children will always be among our top priorities, which is why we wanted to tell you about the benefits of consuming blueberries in the early stages of our children. The antioxidants in blueberries play a crucial role in the nervous system, contributing to skills such as memory, concentration, and attention. Additionally, they promote good visual and brain health—ideal for children in the stages of development and learning.

Children’s Day can be an excellent opportunity to have fun with the family and prepare this easy recipe with blueberries with the little ones at home. Unforgettable moments can be the best gift for this Children’s Day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 traditional homemade or store-bought cake (dry ingredient)
  • 4 tablespoons of Nativ for Life blueberry powder
  • Date caramel or Nutella or Philadelphia cream cheese (creamy ingredient)
  • ½ teaspoon of vanilla essence
  • Medium-sized skewer sticks
  • ¾ cup of dark, sweet, white chocolate coating, or your choice
  • Choose a decoration, such as: grated coconut, pastry sprinkles, chocolate sticks, among others.

Procedure:

Wash your hands thoroughly. In a bowl, crumble the cake until you get fine crumbs and mix it with 4 tablespoons of blueberry powder. Mix well.

The amount of creamy ingredient is ¼ relative to the volume of the mixture of cake crumbs and blueberry. Incorporate into the bowl, with the cake crumbs, the corresponding amount of date caramel or Nutella and mix well with the vanilla essence until forming a homogeneous and moldable dough.

Then, with the help of a spoon or with your hands (using gloves) or with cake pop molds, form balls and place them on a non-stick tray.

Finally, refrigerate for at least two hours.

Cake Pop Coating:

Remove the cake pops from the refrigerator, stick them with a skewer, and reserve on a flat plate. Have another plate with the chosen decoration: sprinkles, grated coconut, or chocolate sticks, etc.

Then, for the chocolate coating, melt the chocolate (it can be dark, sweet, white chocolate, whatever you prefer!) in the microwave for two or three minutes and dip the cake pops in the melted chocolate and immediately into the chosen decoration. Let cool in the refrigerator for a few minutes and enjoy with your children.
