Black Carrot Snack Bars

Homemade snacks are always the best option to have on hand when there’s not much time to eat during workdays. That’s why we recommend that you prepare a healthy snack once a week and enjoy it during those moments between meetings, studies, work, or whenever you desire, alongside your favorite coffee or tea.

Servings: Aproximately 10

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of pitted dates
  • ½ cup of Purple Carrot
  • ½ cup of oats
  • 1 cup of almonds

Procedure:

Soak the pitted dates in boiling water for 20 minutes, then drain the water. Set aside.

Chop the almonds on a cutting board using a knife. Set aside.

In a food processor, combine all the ingredients and grind until you achieve a homogeneous paste.

Finally, place the paste in a loaf pan or flat container and spread it evenly. Refrigerate for 30 minutes and cut into rectangles.
